Gianna LOVES School!

Gianna absolutely loves school! She gets so excited that she gets to go to school every day. She really likes her teacher, Mrs. Burge. She has also become fast friends with a little girl named Caroline. Thankfully, Caroline's mom Alison & I have become fast friends too. We are setting up a play date for the two girls next week. She goes to school Mon-Thur from 9am to 1pm. She likes eating lunch with her friends. On Wednesday they have a 'Stay & Play' program from 1pm to 3pm. This is just extra structured time for them to play on the playgrounds & have more story time & snacks. So of course I signed her up! Here is her schedule:

900-940: Prepare for the day and centers
940-950: Bathrooms and washing hands
950-955: Transition time/Free play
955-1010: Snack
1010-1035: Playground
1035-1045: Bible story
1045-1105: Mon & Thurs - Music
Tues & Wed - Creative Movement(dance)
1105-1150: Circle time/Craft
Spanish (Mon 1145-1200)
1150-1200: Bathrooms and washing hands
1200-1230: Lunch
1230-1250: Mon - ABC Journals
Tues-Thurs - Show & Tell
1250-100: Story and prepare to go home

Gianna's turn for show & tell is on Tuesdays so she can bring anything from home to share with the class that correlates to the letter of the week. She brought her Ariel barbie doll for the letter A & the girls in her class thought that was "cool". She also really likes her Creative Movement teacher, Miss Trisha so we are thinking of signing her up for a fun dance class. And her Spanish & Music teacher is Miss Katherine.
