Layla's Conference Report

Layla is doing awesome in school. I had a parent/teacher conference last week & was pleasantly surprised by how much she is learning. She knows most of her letters, all numbers 1-10, all shapes & colors. She is getting better at writing her name, the y always gets her because it's hard to cross over. She is still primarily left-handed but more & more lately she is using both hands. She can do up to a 48 piece puzzle by herself. Her biggest drawback is that she is so quiet. She actively participates in class, loves taking her turn doing the duties but she is not good at willingly speaking to the teacher or group. To me she is the exact opposite at home. Loud, funny, talking, telling stories, but she is very comfortable with us. I have already registered her for next year & her teacher, Mrs. Burge, is the same teacher Gianna had last year.
