Gianna's surgery was in mid-June and everything went great! She was such a brave little girl. It was certainly an experience for all of us. We have had two post-op appts so far and she is healing up perfectly. She has no restrictions and is back to her normal self. However she will tell you herself that she never wants to have surgery again.
She had a catheter in overnight and she wanted to know where her potty went so I took a picture so she could see what it looked like. Of course when she saw the red potty, she freaked!
She reacted badly to the anesthesia, it just made her very sick. So she was up puking until about 4am on the night we stayed at the hospital. And then when we got home she got sick from the pain meds they gave her. Poor girl was very sick for awhile, longer than I was expecting.
